Human rights activist, a man who has been in and out of police detention for his dare devil activism, has again, declared his intention to run for the presidential seat in 2023.
Sowore, who has never been tired of condemning the excesses of past governments, and that of the incumbent President Buhari, made his decision to contest in the 2023 presidential election known on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, on his Facebook page, under the caption “SOWORE FOR President.”
The 51 years old ‘Yele Sowore, is expected to run under the platform of the African Action Congress (AAC), the same party he ran under in 2019 as the presidential candidate.
However, activist Sowore like many other aspirants, is yet to tell Nigerians what new things he hopes to bring to the table for better and robust economic growth, how he hopes to tackle so many other issues bedeviling the Nigerian society, and why Nigerians should trust him.
