2023: The Church Requires ‘Political Actions’ Not Just ‘Political Sermons’ … PFN

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), has urged church leaders across the country to encourage their followers to actively participate in politics come 2023.

In a press release, PFN stated that,

“The prophetic political destiny of the church at this point, requires political actions rather than political sermons… This must be seen as a collective responsibility of the Church if we must bridge the already widened political gap, and restore the authority, relevance and political gains of the church.”

PFN therefore enjoined all “Church fathers and leaders … to direct and release all their members and followers, to register for, or update, their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC)…” that will enable them “join any political party of their choice,”and “to actively participate in political activities.”
