Alhaji Daud Akinola, the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, popularly called ’De-Damak’, has lost his wife, Alhaja Funke Akinola.
Late Alhaja Akinola, is said to be one of the wives of the Aare Musulumi. She died night of Tuesday, October 26, 2021, following complications arising from High Blood Pressure.
Personal Assistant to Aare Musulumi, Alhaji Azeez, who confirmed the incident morning of Wednesday, Oct. 27, expressed shock and sadness over Alhaja’s Akinola’s death and prayed that Allah grant her jannatul-firdaus and forgive her sins.
Alhaja Funke Akinola is expected to be buried today according to Islamic rites.
