Although I am of Age, I am not Going to Retire from Politics Until I Become President … Tinubu

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and a two time former governor of Lagos State, has said, although he is of age, he would not retire from politics until he becomes the President of the country.

Tinubu said this on Tuesday, May 17, while addressing delegates and party members in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.

He said, “We are of age; we can retire soon, but I am not going to retire until I become President.”

The APC stalwart said, if he is given the opportunity to be the president of Nigeria in 2023, he will govern with all his strength, work with Nigerians to reverse the trend of corruption, and ensure peaceful coexistence (peace and harmony) among the people of Nigeria.
