Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and a former Lagos state governor, has again, travelled out of the country for medical attentions, barely three (3) weeks after declaring his presidential ambitions.
Asiwaju Tinubu, who for the greater part of last year, (2021), was in the United Kingdom, UK, for medical reasons, came back to Nigeria only for him to declare his interest in the 2023 presidential race.
According to sources, the APC leader, Asiwaju Tinubu, travelled for his medical treatments, for reasons credited to stress.
Tinubu, after a visit to President Buhari at the Aso Villa, in Abuja, and a tour to the northern part of the country, to make known his interest in the 2023 presidential election, allegedly complained of stress, and therefore needed medical attentions.
Asiwaju Tinubu’s absence from the country however, became obvious on Thursday, when the working committee to inaugurate a new movement in support of his presidential ambition, gathered at the Alausa- Ikeja area of Lagos state.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was expected to be present at the Thursday event, was conspicuously absent, and this raised the alarm.
While Asiwaju Tinubu’s medical destination is yet to be known, Nigerians can only wish the foremost APC leader, a quick comeback.
