Veteran comedian, and Nollywood actor, Babatunde Omidina, alias ‘Baba Suwe’, has been laid to rest in the presence of family members, friends, and his colleagues in the movie industry.
Baba Suwe, who died at the age of 63, on Monday, November 22, 2021, after a protracted illness, was buried according to Islamic rites, today, Thursday, 25th of November, 2021, at his Ikorodu home, in the suburb area of Lagos state.
Present at the event were foremost actors, and actresses, (in no particular order), namely: Bello Salami, alias, ‘Oga Bello’, and his son, Femi Adebayo, Jide Kosoko, Fausat Balogun, aka, ‘Madam Saje’, Hassanat Akinwande, popularly called Wunmi, Bolaji Amusan, alias, ‘Mr. Latin’, Yinka Quadri, among many others.
Fans of Baba Suwe, dressed up in the manner of the late actor, were present at the event, just for a comic relief.
Emotions however ran, as the remains of Babatunde Omidina, ‘Baba Suwe’, was lowered to the grave.
