Breaking: How Pastor Tunde Bakare Narrowly Escaped Plane Crash

The serving overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, and politician, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has explained to his congregation, on Sunday, October 24, how he narrowly escaped a plane crash late last week.

Thanking God at his Oregun church, Bakare said, “but for God;” adding that, “when the plane was misbehaving, I said to myself, I didn’t tell God I will die in a crash.”

He affirmed that, “even if there’s a crash, I’ll escape.”

Pastor Bakare, in no small measure, also praised God for the unnamed pilot, who he described as a thorough bred professional, whose expertise cannot be queried.

He thanked the pilot for sustaining the plane in the air while the storm lasted; and for deploying his professionalism in seeing to it that the plane landed safely, without anyone on board injured, even after some minutes in the air.

Pastor Bakare also acknowledged members of his church for their continuous prayers and supports; while still stressing his profound gratitude to God for His mighty protection and deliverance.

Bakare however, reiterated his commitment to seeing a better Nigeria, with emphasis on his popular slogan, ‘Nigeria will be great in my life time.’

The eloquent Pastor did not, however, mentioned the name of the airline, or his destination when the incident happened.

Bakare is a one time vice presidential candidate; who hopes to be the 16th president of Nigeria come 2023.
