No fewer than 20 members of the Cross River State House of Assembly, were sacked on Monday, by the Federal High Court in Abuja, for defecting to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
In a judgement suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/975/2021, filed by the PDP, Justice Taiwo Taiwo, upheld that, based on the evidences before the court, the lawmakers should vacate their seats for having abandoned the political party that brought them to power, for another party.
