Davido, ‘Omo Baba Olowo’, Make Charity Donation Of N250 Million To Nigerian Orphanages

David Adeleke, aka, Davido – ‘Omo Baba Olowo’, has promised to spread across Nigerian orphanages, the sum of N200 million, donated to him by friends, fans, and colleagues, during his N100 million challenge, presented few days back to the people of Nigeria, and, perhaps to other fans of his, outside the shores of the country.

In a released Statement, dated Friday, November 19, 2021, titled: “Donation Of N250,000,000.00 To Orphanages Across Nigeria”, signed by Davido himself, it was reiterated by the music star that, the said amount of N200 million was actually donated to him during his last birthday celebration; but that, he, (Davido), added the sum of N50 million to the N200 million contributed, totaling N250 million.

Davido, who has constituted a committee, responsible for the distribution of the N250 million to orphanages across the country, thanked his fans, colleagues, and friends, who made his goal a reality.

He promised to make the N100 million challenge a yearly event, particularly, during his birthday, as his own way of giving back to the society, and to make transparent the activities of the 5 man committee, inaugurated to see to the sharing of the donated money to orphanages.
