‘Even People in the Diaspora Like My Moimoi’ … ‘O So Yinbo’, the Moimoi Wholesaler + Video

Moimoi, a delicacy in the African cuisine, made from beans and some other ingredients, is one of the ‘fast foods’ in Lagos metropolis, that people don’t easily ignore.

Moimoi, alongside with eko, ogi (pap), bread, garri, rice… can be enjoyed anytime of the day depending on the individual’s preference.

It is a common sight in the ever busy Lagos city, to see people, including car owners, stop by, just to get some wraps of moimoi, most times, on their way to the office, or home, depending on what hour of the day it is.

Some people who miss breakfast in their homes, due to Lagos traffic (rush hours), sometimes opt for moimoi as breakfast.

Truth be told, a well seasoned moimoi, wrapped in leaves, cannot be ignored because of the ‘tantalizing’ aroma, and the many health benefits.

Passing along Berger route, this woman, who is never tired of wrapping moimoi, and at the same time, deploying her managerial skills, caught the attention of SarahReports’ team; and we decided to go interview her on her success story.

Watch.

  1. Very interesting and inspiring video. I just hope young folks can take a cue from this and go out all the way to legitimate businesses, no matter how seemingly class other May perceive it. Most times, that’s where money is. -Selah

    2. Quite an inspiring story. It’s obvious that God directed her into the business – the result shows. It’s sad that many ladies today are looking for ready-made men, reflecting on what she said about ladies who could not endure the demands of her flourishing business.

  2. She’s so hard working. At least Esther got something from her. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ God bless her.
