Gernot Rorh Is Still Super Eagles Coach Until NFF Final Verdict

Contrary to reports on some news platforms on Thursday that the Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, has been sacked, the embattled coach has come out to say that he is still very much with the Nigerian team.

Although, there have been widespread rumours from parts of the country that the 68 years old, Franco-German coach could be sacked following the ‘poor performance’ of a 1-1 draw in the final Group C World Cup Qualifying match between the Super Eagles team and Cape Verde on Tuesday, the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has deflated such rumours saying, due process must be followed if need be for the exit of Coach Rorh.

While the fuss between Gernot Rorh and his NFF employer continues, the unassuming coach has, according to sports analysts, out of 54 international matches, won 28 matches for the country, over the course of 5years and 3 months.

However, as Nigerians await the outcome of the situation, 68 years old, Franco-German Gernot Rorh, remains the Super Eagles coach as at the time of this report.
