Senator Shehu Sani has considered the two votes he got at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primaries in Kaduna state has ‘clean votes.’
Sani, who appreciated the two delegates that voted for him “without giving them a dime,” also congratulated Honourable Isah Ashiru, the winner of governorship primary election.
Sani, however said, he is looking forward to knowing the two ‘unknown’ delegates that voted for him so that he can appreciate them.
Taking to his Twitter page on Thursday, Sen. Shehu Sani said,
“The Kaduna PDP Governorship primaries has been concluded. I lost and Honourable Isah Ashiru won. I wish to congratulate him. Two Delegates voted for me without giving them a dime; unfortunately, I don’t know who they are, so that I can appreciate these clean votes. We look forward.”
Reports have it that, Sen. Sani vowed not to bribe, or influence any delegate’s decision with money before they can vote for him; a course the Senator followed through, which probably, made him lose the Kaduna state governorship primaries.
