The identity of the young man, who committed suicide on Tuesday, at the Berger bridge, connecting Ibeju-Lekki to Epe town, in the outskirts of Lagos State, has been known.
The young man, identified as Odunare Olalekan, was a 21-year-old Ordinary National Diploma, (OND), holder, who before killing himself, worked at a mega estate, at Alaro City, along the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos.
Prior to his death, sources close to the family said, he was behaving strangely, giving instructions to his 19 years old girlfriend, and mother of his only child, to take care of his baby, who just clocked a year old.
Olalekan also told his father, Mr. Odunare, to pray for him early hours of the day he did the unthinkable.
News of Odunare Olalekan death, thereafter, reached his family members, through friends, and his biological brother, who told them he was seen in a viral video, plunging into the lagoon.
However, no one, including Olalekan’s family members, could say the exact reasons why the 21 years old man, killed himself.
