The Aba Global Crusade, organized by the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, has been canceled due to the security situation in Aba, Abia state.
In a statement issued on behalf of the church by Pastor James Akpofure, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Coordinating Overseer, this month’s Global Crusade, themed “Jesus’ Power for Extraordinary Breakthrough” scheduled for Tuesday, 24th to Sunday 29th, May 2022, has been moved to another location for security reasons.
According to sources, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), in a statement issued by its spokesman, Emma Powerful, had advised Pastor Kumuyi, to cancel the crusade in Aba due to the rising insecurity in the Southeast.
“The security of this region is not good because of political and criminal activities, therefore we advise him (Kumuyi) to stop this crusade for security reasons.
“IPOB will not allow anyone to die because of this crusade scheduled to hold in Aba…”
The group however plead with the General Superintendent, to pray for an end to the rising insecurity situation in the region.
