President General of Ohaneze -Ndigbo, Professor George Obiozor, has said, Nigerians should give an Igbo person the chance to be president in 2023.
Speaking from Owerri, the state capital of Imo state, Obiozor said, because Igbo people know how to share resources, Nigeria will be a better country if an Igbo president emerges in the forthcoming presidential election.
However, Prof. Obiozor said, distance Ohaneze Ndigbo from the Indigenous People Of Biafra, (IPOB), alleging that, IPOB does not represent the ideology of the Ndigbo.
He added that, IPOB sit at home order and all that had transpired in Eastern part of the country, negated the collective idealism of Ohaneze Ndigbo.
Prof. Obiozor said this during a chat with a Arise News TV on Friday morning.
