Jealous Husband Stabbed Man To Death For Admiring His Pregnant Wife

A man simply identified as Keke, has stabbed another man, named Daniel to death, for allegedly admiring his pregnant wife.

Keke, and his pregnant wife, who are now at large, are now been wanted by the Lagos state Police Command for the crime.

 

Keke was said to have barged into the home of late Mr. Daniel, who was a fashion designer and stabbed him repeatedly in the chest.

 

The incident happened at the Iwaya area of Yaba, in Lagos state on Monday.

Keke anger was aroused when a neighbour of his informed him that his wife and late Daniel were having illicit relationship.

Keke, who could not control his anger, stepped out of his apartment to challenge Mr. Daniel before the unfortunate incident happened.

Angry Keke was said to have threatened Daniel with a knife, but Daniel quickly left the scene to avoid any casualty but rage took over Keke who ran after Daniel and stabbed him in the chest with the knife he was holding.

 

It was other neighbours that rushed Mr. Daniel to the hospital after which he was confirmed dead around 11 pm, same Monday night.

Keke and his wife were said to have fled their Iwaya home for fear of been attacked by angry residents.

 

Confirming the incident, Lagos state Police spokesperson, CSP. Adekunle Ajisebutu said,

“As soon as the incident was reported, police detectives attached to the Sabo division immediately visited the scene.”

Ajisebutu explained that, “The victim was taken to the Harvey Road Hospital, Yaba, for medical attention, but he died while being attended to.”

 

He further confirmed that, Mr. Daniel’s body “has been deposited at the Yaba Mainland Hospital’s morgue, for an autopsy.”

 

Spokesman Ajisebutu again revealed that,

“The Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has directed that the case be transferred to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, for diligent investigation; and that CP. Odumosu has also “directed that all efforts should be made to arrest the fleeing suspect.”
