Some yet to be identified hooligans, alleged to be members of of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB), have been accused by Joe Igbokwe, of setting his Nnewi home, in Anambra state, ablaze.
The spokesperson of the All Progressive Congress, (APC), Lagos State chapter, and one of the aides of Governor Sanwo-Olu, who took to his Facebook page to lament his ordeal said,
“IPOB invaded my house in Nnewi about now. I am sure they raised down the my house given the jerrycans of petrol I saw being offloaded from their Sienna car via CCTV. To God be the glory, I am still alive.
Mr. Igbokwe, however, expressed sadness over his study that was lost to the inferno.
He said,
“My study is my greatest regret.”
