Nollywood veteran actress, Ada Ameh, popularly called Emu Akpor Johnson in the tv series ‘The Johnsons’ is dead.
Ada (Emu), who died at 48, reportedly collapsed at about 11 p.m. on Sunday night and eventually gave up the ghost.
The incident which happened in Warri, Delta State has been confirmed on Monday morning by the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, who said, “We lost Ada. No details at the moment, but we’ve lost Ada.”
Also, sources said, Ada Ameh was a guest to an oil company worker, and his family in Delta state when the unexpected happened.
It was revealed that efforts to save her life from the sudden death proved abortive as she reportedly gave up the ghost on the way to the nearby Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Hospital in the Warri metropolis.
Members of her family, as well as the Delta state police command, is yet to make public statements on the likely cause(s) of Adah Ameh’s sudden death.
