Just In: EFCC Chairman, Abdurasheed Bawa, Slumps In Abuja While Delivering A Goodwill Message

The Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa, while delivering a goodwill message at the National Identity Day celebration in Abuja, suddenly stopped talking and slumped.

 

The incident that happened on Thursday, September 16, has since drawn the attention of the media.

 

Abdulrasheed Bawa, before the incident, was said to be narrating a story about a man the Commission arrested in Ibadan, Oyo state, with 116 SIM cards.

 

He was afterwards, helped to his seat by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Pantami, and other senior officials at the event; and then rushed out of the hall.
