Contrary to the news alleging the arrest of Chamberlain Usoh and his colleague Kayode Okikiolu, information reaching SarahReports just now said, Mr. Usoh and Mr. Okikiolu, both of Channels TV, were not arrested as alleged, but were invited to the National Broadcasting Commission’s office, for questioning.
The information stated that, the two broadcasters were invited, following the interview granted the Retd. Commodore Olawunmi, on the popular TV programme, ‘Sunrise Daily’.
During the programme, Commodore Olawunmi, supposedly made several accusations against the Federal Government, which the Commission considered as ‘infringements’ of the National Broadcasting codes; hence, the invitation of the presenters for questioning.
Hmmmm. When Channels interviewed Gumi and he sought to create disaffection by claiming Christian soldiers were the ones killing bandits … government didn’t invite Channels. Why now? Are the Gumis of this world above d law?
