Super Eagles Team Arrive Nigeria Ahead Of Qatar 2022 Qualifying Matches

All 23 players, invited by Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr, are now in Lagos.

 

The team arrived Lagos, Nigeria, ahead of Qatar 2022, qualifying matches.

Team Super Eagles will be playing against the Les Fauves team of the Central African Republic, CAR.

 

The matches are scheduled to hold in Lagos, Nigeria, on Thursday; and Douala, Cameroon on Sunday.

 

According to the Statement of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, the Group C Lagos encounter will be played inside the Teslim Balogun Stadium, by 5pm, on Thursday; after which, the Super Eagles will fly to Douala, Cameroon, for another encounter with CAR, on Sunday by 2pm, Cameroon time.

 

The choice of Douala, Cameroon, for CAR match, is because, no football field is approved by the Confederation of African Football, CAF, as fit and proper for international matches in CAR.
