The face of ASP. John Umoru, alias ‘Too Much Money’, who the Nigeria Police Force, (NPF) Monday, February 14, 2022 statement said is ‘at large’, has surfaced on the social media.
ASP. Umoru reportedly came by the name ‘Too Much Money’, because of his flamboyant lifestyle and his wanton displays of wealth that is not in tandem with his earning as a Nigerian Police Officer.
Going by the recent revelations, of some top police officers involvement in international drugs trafficking, some Nigerians are of the opinion that, the air of invincibility around Umoru, and other officers of his likes, emboldened them to form a drug cartel and to continue in their nefarious activities before the bubble bursts.
Recall that, few hours back, DCP. Abba Kyari, and an alleged member of an international drug cartel, was caught in a viral video, in drug related activities that involved huge amount of money.
Following this, the NPF has immediately arrested DCP. Kyari over the allegations, while working together with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
It is therefore unfortunate that, some Police officials, who are supposed to be fighting crimes and criminals, allegedly got themselves involved in drug dealings; even forming a drug cartel or syndicate.
