Two Students, Three Housemasters, Of Dowen College, Arrested For Sylvester Oromoni’s Death

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, may be making good his promise that, no stone will be left unturned, to unravel the mystery behind Sylvester Oromoni’s death, the murdered student of Dowen College in Lekki, Lagos, as five (5) persons, suspected to be involved in the crime, have been arrested, and detained in Police custody.

 

The arrested persons, which include, two (2) students, and three (3) house masters, were confirmed arrested for interrogation on Tuesday, over the alleged torture, and consequent death of the 12 years old minor.

 

Further information gathered revealed that, officials of the Police Force, obtained a court order to detain the arrested students for 21 days at the juvenile centre, after a visit to the State Criminal Investigative Department, (SCID), Panti, Yaba, Lagos.

 

Parents of the suspected, and detained students, who went to SCID with their children, have said, their children are not involved in the death of Sylvester Oromoni Jnr. but despite their pleadings, the children alongside other arrested persons, however, remained in Police custody.
