2023: Pastor Bakare Joins Presidential Race … Says He’ll Fix Nigeria Problems

After much conflicting and confusing reports, Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Citadel Global Community Church, has finally declared his intention to run in the 2023 presidential elections.

Bakare, who has never mince words that he will be the 16th president of Nigeria, soon after Buhari, made his declaration at the virtual meeting held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, organized to Unveil his Project 16 agenda to Nigerians in diaspora.

The virtual unveiling ceremony themed: “The portrait of a new Nigeria,” was organized by the PTB4Nigeria (Pastor Tunde Bakare for (4) Nigeria) group in the diaspora.

Speaking at the virtual ceremony, Bakare said, he remains the best suitable candidate to address Nigeria’s problems; and also the rallying point to restore order in the country.

He said, “The PTB brand is a rallying point for all Nigerians. I have a vision of a new Nigeria, and I will play a leading role as we approach the Nigeria of our dreams.”

The cleric cum politician, who was a one time vice presidential candidate, however, warned ahead of the 2023 general elections that, there is the likelihood of the south being set against the north, and Christians set against Muslims.

Nevertheless, the Pastor remains optimistic that he is the best candidate to address the problems affecting the country if given the opportunity in the forthcoming 2023 general elections; but he has failed to tell Nigerians under which of the political platforms he would be running.
