It was a carnival like event at the palace of Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe, as people gathered, singing and dancing, to show their support for Asiwaju Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader, who has visited Ekiti state for another royal blessing ahead of his 2023 presidential ambition.
Tinubu, who had earlier visited some other top monarchs in the south west, said at the event that, he chose to visit the Ewi’s palace because of the enormous respect he has for culture and tradition.
Presidential aspirant Tinubu, who was a two term governor of Lagos state, opined that, going by his wealth of experience, wisdom and patience as a former governor, he has got what it takes to make Nigeria great again, stable the country’s democracy and unstable economy.
Asiwaju Tinubu again promised to renew the hope of the Nigerian children and make the future great for them; as he will not only stabilize the dwindling economy but also the collapsing educational sector.
In response, Oba Adejugbe appreciated the APC national leader for his exploits in Lagos state while in office and thereafter; and echoed his support for the presidential aspirant – Tinubu.
The event was graced by Ekiti state deputy governor, Bisi Egbeyemi, who represented the state’s governor, Kayode Fayemi, Chieftains of the South West Agenda for Tinubu led by Dayo Adeyeye, and many other officials and residents of Ekiti state.
