First Lady Aisha Buhari has invited some All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential aspirants namely: Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, APC chieftain – Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state, former VP Atiku Abubakar, and ex Anambra state governor Peter Obi, to a Ramadan dinner on Saturday, April 23, 2022 for the reasons best known to her.
Although not all the party’s presidential aspirants were invited for the dinner, as the likes of Senator Orji Kalu – the former governor of Abia State, ex-governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha, Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, and Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, are not expected to be at the Ramadan dinner, newsmen are yet to understand the reason(s) for the invitation of just five (5) of the aspirants, and others who have shown similar interest left out.
Besides, it was again clearly stated on the invite that, the invited aspirants are expected to present their invite cards before they can gain access into the dinner hall.
It was also clearly stated on the invites that no phones will be allowed. “Please, bring this card with you. Phones are not allowed.”
