The emeritus General Overseer of the Foursquare Gospel Church, Nigeria, Revd. Dr. Wilson Badejo passed early hours of yesterday Saturday August 7th, 2021, at the age of 74.
In a statement signed by the Presidential spokesman, Mr. Femi Adesina, on Sunday August 8th, President Muhammadu Buhari described the late Reverend as a dedicated servant of God who was committed to standing in the gap for not just his organization but for the whole Nigeria.
President Buhari urged the Badejo’s family to take comfort in the fact that Revd. Dr. Badejo served humanity to the best of his ability and that he set a standard to be emulated by all and prayed that God comfort the leadership and members of the Foursquare Gospel Church and the entire Badejo family.
Before Revd. Dr. Wilson Badejo’s passage into glory, he served the Foursquare Gospel Church for 10 years as General Overseer.
The late cleric Wilson Badejo, apart from being a preacher of the word, was also a teacher per excellence, an author, a public speaker with oratorical skills, a veterinary doctor, a father, a husband among many other achievements.
Revd. Dr. Badejo will not only be missed by the organization he served and his family members, but also by the Christian body in Nigeria.
