Breaking: Super Eagles Fly To Victory In First Leg Match Against Pharaohs Of Egypt With A Lone Goal

The Super Eagles of Nigeria has made the country proud in their first leg match against the Pharaohs of Egypt at the African Cup of Nations, AFCON 21 with a lone goal win.

 

Kelechi Iheanacho, 14 shirt, scored the first and only goal of the match, 30 minutes into play that gave the Nigerian team a sure 3 points.

Although the match recorded many loses from the Nigerian side, but kudos to the team for dominating its strong opponent, the Pharaohs of Egypt.

 

Kelechi Iheanacho, the scorer of the lone goal, has soon after the match, received a plaque as the man of the match.

Iheanacho, and other members of the team, worked together to give Nigeria the well deserved victory.

 

Football analyst, Jayjay Okocha, an ex Nigerian player and international, said, the new Super Eagles coach, Augustine Eguavoen, has proven his competence in his new role as the technical director of the team.

Speaking shortly after the match, Eguavoen praised his team saying, Egypt team is not at all a weak team. He said winning the match against such a strong opponent is an encouraging and excellent outcome.

 

Eguavoen promised to approach every match as if it is the final for the expected overall victory.
