New Political Party, Rescue Nigeria Project, RNP, Surfaces in Nigeria

A new political party, Rescue Nigeria Project (RNP), has been inaugurated in Nigeria.

 

The RNP, which is likely to be a stiff competitor for the two dominant political parties in Nigeria; and give citizens an alternative choice during the 2023 general elections.

 

Founders of Rescue Nigeria Project party in no particular order are: Professor Attahiru Jega, former Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),

Prof. Pat Utomi, a Political Economist, Ahmed Abdulfatah, ex Governor of Kwara State.

 

While the membership of the former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke, remains sketchy, other members of the party include: Senator Lee Maeba, Prof. Tunde Adeniran, Usman Bugaje, Ambassador Nkoyo Toyo, Yomi Awoniyi, Dr. Rose Idi Danladi and Dr. Sadiq Gombe.
