The founder of Abba Faith Ministries, South-African, Pastor Isaiah Okechukwu, a Nigerian based in South Africa, have placed one of the Bishop Oyedepo’s sacked pastors, Pastor Godwin Onoruoiza on N100,000.00 monthly salary for the next five years pending the time the sacked pastor will find his feet after such an unexpected sack.
Pastor Okechuchuwu who stated his intention on a facebook post on Monday also condemned Oyedepo’s action comparing the cleric with the Nigerian businessman, Obi Cubana.
The South African based Pastor Isaiah Okechukwu, shared a copy of his first payment of N100,000 to Godwin Onoruoiza on social media.
He condemned other pastors in the country for not speaking against Bishop David Oyedepo’s action saying “the same godfatherism in politicians’ lives is the same game that is being played in the church of God.”
We will recall that the Living Faith Pastor Godwin Onoruoiza, in a trending video, confirmed his appointment with the church on August 28, 2020 only to be sacked in less than a year afterwards on the grounds of being ‘unfruitful’.
Pastor Godwin said before his sack, he did his best to ‘win souls’ as directed by the church leadership. He confirmed that he was sacked alongside other over 40 pastors serving in the church for the same reason.
He said:
“when I got there, I saw other pastors too, over 40 of them, so I joined them. A few minutes later, we were issued a letter… and I saw it was a sack letter.”
We will recall that sarahreports.com had earlier reported that, a Nigerian pastor, ‘Biodun Fatoyinbo, Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, on his instagram page, applauded Bishop David Oyedepo’s sack of the ‘unfruitful’ pastors; while Bishop David Oyedepo has maintained his stand concerning the sack saying, “we asked you to go because you are unfruitful… Doing what there? We have no patience with failure here.”
