SWAGA ‘23: Sanwo-Olu, Others, Drum Supports for Asiwaju Tinubu

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and other national leaders of the All Progressive Congress, (APC), in their support for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s candidature as President come 2023; have taken the SWAGA ‘23 agenda to Lagos State, despite the fact that the APC national leader, has not officially declared his interest for the presidential seat during the 2023 general elections.

In a carnival-like event held on Thursday, at 10 Degrees Event Centre in Oregun, Lagos, which was well attended by the party’s political leaders, Gov. Sanwo-Olu said,

“The SWAGA we are launching in Lagos today, is a demonstration of Tinubu’s enduring political principles and strong vision. Those behind the movement took the three values and push them with passion. What we are witnessing today is the action from the vision and passion; this is what SWAGA represents. By the grace of God, we will drive this agenda to logical end, and we will all witness the inauguration of our political icon come 2023.”

SWAGA ‘23, is the south-west agenda, and a political movement, in support of Tinubu, led by Senator Dayo Adeyeye.

The campaign movement, which started in 2020, has its south-west regional headquarters in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital; after being flagged off in Ogun, Ekiti, Osun, and Ondo.
